How It Works

Do you receive Medicare or Medicaid?

Medicaid recipients may be eligible for meals in the 13 Upstate counties that we serve, and in Oconee County only we also serve Medicare recipients.

Medicaid Recipients: Are you on CLTC? If not, your first step will be to call Medicaid (888-971-1637) to sign up for Community Long Term Care & to request meal delivery from SENIOR Solutions Meals on Wheels Upstate South Carolina.

Medicare Recipients (Oconee County only): Your first step will be to call the Appalachian Council of Governments (864-242-9733) and let them know that you would like to receive meals from SENIOR Solutions Meals on Wheels Upstate South Carolina.

Your respective insurance provider will handle your paperwork and send us approval when it is completed. Once we receive the approval letter, we will call YOU to set up your first meal delivery.
